Data protection information for Quentn Facebook app
Quentn is a meta app from Quentn.com GmbH, Friedrich-Ebert-Str. 51, 14469 Potsdam (hereinafter “Quentn.com”). Quentn.com provides its clients (hereinafter “Clients”) with a customer relationship management platform (hereinafter “Quentn”). As part of Quentn, clients have the opportunity to collect data from their respective customers (hereinafter "you") by integrating a Facebook button on the client's website. If you are a Facebook user, you do not have to enter your personal data on the client's website, but can have Facebook transfer it to the client.
Quentn.com acts as a contract data processor for the respective client. The person responsible for you under data protection law remains the client. As a contract data processor, Quentn.com has no information obligations towards you. For reasons of transparency, the following explanation is provided voluntarily.
If you click on the Facebook button integrated by the client into their website, Facebook will ask you to agree to the transfer of your personal data to the approved extent to the Quentn Facebook app "Quentn". This Facebook app from Quentn.com is used to retrieve the data you have shared with Facebook and transfer it to the respective client's Quentn database. You only have to give your consent to Facebook once. If you click on the Facebook button integrated there on another client's website after giving your consent, the data you have already shared with Facebook will be retrieved from Facebook again by the Quentn Facebook app "Quentn" and stored in the other client's Quentn database transferred without you having to consent to Facebook again. Your initial consent to Facebook therefore applies to all clients.
Scope of transferred personal data
If you click on the Facebook button integrated by the client into their website, the following personal data from your Facebook account will be transferred:
- Your name
- Your Email address
Purpose of data processing
The data can be used by our customers for marketing and evaluation purposes. These include:
- Email marketing: sending personalized newsletters and promotional emails to inform you about products, services or offers.
- Website tracking: Analyzing your behavior on the customer's website to improve the user experience and offer personalized content.
- Newsletter click and opening behavior: Tracking which emails are opened and which links are clicked in order to measure and optimize the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
Unsubscribe
You can automatically remove your data from all client systems at any time by removing the Quentn app from your Facebook account. To do this, please proceed as follows:
- Go to your Facebook account settings at https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=applications
- In the menu under Settings & privacy click on the menu item named Apps and websites
- Find the app named Quentn in the list below and click Remove
Right to information
Please assert your rights to information and all other rights to which you are entitled to the respective client. The same applies to the revocation of data protection consent, which you should give to the respective recipient of the declaration (client, Facebook).
