Conditions of Participation for Affiliates

The following terms and conditions (T&Cs) govern the contractual relationship between Quentn.com GmbH, hereinafter referred to as Quentn, and its participants in the affiliate programme, hereinafter referred to as "Affiliates".

1. Participation and Account

1. By signing up for the affiliate programme via the registration form, the affiliate submits their contact details and receives their free account.
2. Quentn does not accept partnerships with operators of websites with illegal, pornographic, extremist, or violent content. The operator must take care not to violate the rights of third parties or to violate applicable law in any way.
3. This excludes operators of advertising and click networks, cashback programmes or paid-for-action programmes.
4. Quentn shall expressly reserve the right to reject applications.
5. Quentn shall reserve the right to delete inactive accounts.

2. Rights and Duties

1. The Affiliate shall not be permitted to act as a representative or agent on behalf of Quentn.
2. No agency or employment relationship shall be created between Quentn and the Affiliate. The commissions that are paid out are to be understood as reimbursement of advertising costs. The Affiliate shall be responsible for the correct payment of taxes and any business registration required.
3. The Affiliate acts as an intermediary for contracts between the customer and Quentn. In no case are they authorized to act as a contractual partner themselves.
4. The Affiliate shall not be permitted to use their own created graphic banners. If you plan to use your own graphics, please contact Quentn.
5. Quentn is a registered word mark of Quentn.com GmbH. Affiliates shall not be permitted to use the name "Quentn" for domain registration. The same applies to typo squatting domains, which may cause confusion with Quentn.
6. Advertising measures in search or content networks that use the keyword "Quentn" or "Quentn.com" to display text ads or advertising banners shall be prohibited. Exceptions to this rule may be made by prior arrangement.
7. Any form of spam shall be prohibited, such as sending content to email addresses that have not expressly consented to advertising, as well as blog and social media spamming.

3. Tracking and Remuneration

A commission is granted by Quentn at its own discretion if a valid click has led to an order at Quentn. The amount of the commission depends on the current premium table, which can be viewed in the member area.

1. Making purchases via your own affiliate link shall be prohibited. Commissions from orders made via your own link shall be deleted without comment. In addition to making an order via your own link, such self-promotion shall also be prohibited, suggesting that an affiliate account was only used for a one-time promotion to a family member.
2. Fraud attempts, such as cookie stuffing, will result in immediate disqualification and cancellation of outstanding commissions and, if applicable, recovery of commissions already paid.

3. Tracking takes place via cookies. These are small files that are stored in the browser when someone clicks on the affiliate link. When the order is placed, the system checks whether the customer has a cookie that can be assigned to an affiliate. We follow the “Last cookie wins” principle (i.e., the customer is assigned to the last referring affiliate).

   A cookie from Quentn is valid for 360 days. The Affiliate should be aware that Quentn does everything in its power to ensure clean tracking. Nevertheless, Quentn cannot guarantee that all purchases referred by the Affiliate will be tracked.

4. Commissions are set to "pending" status for 31 days after being triggered, after which they’re automatically cleared and released for payment. Quentn shall reserve the right to withhold commissions longer for accounts with few customers to reduce the risk of losses due chargebacks for already paid commissions.
5. Payouts are made by the 7th day of the following month, with the minimum amount for a payout being €10. For amounts of €500 or more, an interim payment can be requested. A payout can be requested by clicking a button in the partner area.
6. Commissions that have already been paid out and whose corresponding payout has been cancelled due to a chargeback or incorrect entry shall be offset against the next payout. If settling a negative account balance through new commissions is not expected within 3 months, Quentn shall reserve the right to reclaim already paid out commissions.

4. Other

1. All information regarding prices, commissions, and the agreement that the Affiliate receives from Quentn as part of its partnership shall be treated with strict confidentiality.
2. Quentn shall remain entitled to change the conditions of participation for the partner programme or even to discontinue it completely, especially if new legal requirements make this necessary. A change in the partner programme shall not result in a change in the agreement with customers.
3. In the event that these conditions of participation are violated, Quentn shall be entitled to withhold or reclaim commissions and to terminate the Affiliate without notice.
4. By registering, the Affiliate shall be deemed to have agreed to the listed rules.
5. Should any provision of this agreement be wholly or partially invalid or subsequently cease to be legally valid, this shall not in any way affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The statutory provisions shall apply in place of the invalid provision.
